He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature. – Hebrews 1:3
Radiating His Light
Are you radiant? Do you glow? While cosmetic companies and plastic surgeons market physical ways to “beam,“ the radiance of the glory of God comes from within. Some who spend time in the sun “radiate” with a tan or sunburn. Similarly, the more time you spend with the Son, drawing closer to the Lord in His word and prayer, and communing deeply with His Holy Spirit, the more His light will shine through your countenance and radiate to those around you. The Bible says that Jesus radiated the glory of God. Psalm 34:5 states, “Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.” When you draw near to Jesus, you can have that “Son-glow“ any time of year.
